Why does everything feel so loud?...Everyone else seems fine. What’s wrong with me?...Why can't I retain anything?

Emotional & Nervous System Regulation for Neurodivergent and Neurotypical Youth.

Give students a language for what they feel in their bodies—and practical tools to return to safety, focus, and connection so they can learn, participate, and thrive.

Today’s students are navigating:

  • Constant stress, screens, and social pressure

  • Rising anxiety, shutdowns, and burnout

  • Sensory overload and environments that overwhelm their systems

Neurodivergent students in particular often experience:

  • Being misread as “defiant” when they're actually overloaded

  • Feeling pressure to mask instead of being understood

  • Navigating programs that aim to “fix” behavior rather than honor their neurology

We help students understand their nervous system, navigate overwhelm, and access the calm, clarity, and confidence they need to show up as their best selves—available in-class or afterschool.

Who It’s For

Middle School (Grades ~6–8)

  • Naming feelings + body signals

  • Basic nervous system education (“why my body freaks out”)

  • Simple regulation practices (movement breaks, breath, sensory tools)

  • Peer dynamics, boundaries, and asking for help

High School (Grades ~9–12)

  • Stress, anxiety, performance pressure, and identity

  • Deeper nervous system literacy (triggers, patterns, shutdown, overdrive)

  • Building a personalized regulation plan for home, school, and online life

  • Relationships, consent, conflict repair, and digital overwhelm

  • Self-advocacy for accommodations and support

College / Young Adult

  • Academic and life stress, burnout, and transition

  • Autonomic nervous system, interoception, and resilience

  • Unmasking and navigating campus as a neurodivergent or highly sensitive student

  • Belonging, community care, and support-seeking

What students learn:

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): aligned with widely recognized SEL competencies like self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

  • Nervous System Regulation & Mindfulness: grounded in research showing that mindfulness programs for university students improve autonomic nervous system regulation and reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

  • Afterschool & Expanded Learning Impact: built on evidence that afterschool programs embedding SEL can improve youth social-emotional and behavioral outcomes.

  • Trauma-Informed & Resilience-Oriented Practice: informed by trauma-informed SEL frameworks that emphasize emotional regulation, safety, and resilience in school settings.
